1. Please explain about preposition, what are the
differences between in, on and at
Ø At :
use for stating where someone or something is for in a particular place, use
for saying where you stop on a journey, and sitting or standing close to
something especially in order to do something.
Ø Between : can be used in the following ways as a
preposition (followed by noun), the distance between two places. As an adverb
(without a following noun), two periods of study with a short break between with someone or something on each side
or end.
Ø On :
used as a function word to indicate position in contact with and supported by
the top surface, use a function word to indicate the location of something, and
use as a function word to indicate position in or in contact with an outher
surface.
Ø In :
can be used in the following ways as a preposition (followed by a noun), the
children are in the garden. As an adverb (without a following noun), come in
anf sit down. Used for showing where someone or something is inside a
container, room, building, vehicle, etc.

differences between past, cross, through, and along
Ø Past :
can be used in the following ways as a preposition (followed by anoun), it’s
past your bedtime. As an adverb (without a following noun), a policeman walked
past, and after a particular time use for saying what time it is when it is
not more than thirty minutes after one, two etc o’clock.
Ø Through :
can be used in the following ways as a preposition (followed by a noun), they
were riding through a forest. As an adverb (without afollowing noun), there’s
a hole in the roof where the rain comes through. As an adjective a through
train from one end or side of something to the other.
Ø Along :
can be used in the following ways as a preposition (followed by a noun), go
along south street and turn left. As an adverb (without a following noun), can
I bring the children along.
Ø Cross :
to go from one side of something such as a road or river to the other, use for
on side of something such as a room or enclosed area to the other, and use for
side of a border or line that separates places to the other.
